Performance of Hybrid Backup Sync Across Market Features
Hybrid Backup Sync Likes & Dislikes
Its most valuable features are its flexible backup policies, multi-destination support (local, remote and cloud), reliable scheduling and seamless integration with QNAP nas for efficient data replication and recovery.
No additional cost with flexible backup and sync options makes HBS a no-brainer for anyone with QNAP's. Having an air gapped backup solution for our remote QNAP's has removed a major auditor concern when it comes to our field office data.
It's totally reliable, it's easy and intuitive to set-up, it really flexible and gives you the control over the backup processes.
Limited advanced reporting and alerting capabilities. Performance overhead during large-scale syn. Could be improved for enterprise-level.
The logging and alerting features of HBS are very simple and basic. It's a weakness we can overlook, but might be a concern for some IT managers.
There's a learning curve,a bit off instructions and guidance is needed to understand the differences between services, archive spaces and backup/sync types. Once backup is running, there's not so much control on what is happening.
