Performance of Microsoft Fabric Across Market Features
Microsoft Fabric Likes & Dislikes
Strong integration across all Microsoft tools. If you already invested in Power BI, Synapse, One Lake and/or Data Factory (among other core/non core Data & AI products from Microsoft. User experience/user interface is clean, neat and easy to understand even for not advanced users.
1. Microsoft Fabric provides centralized governance 2. Power BI integration 3. Easy data management
1) It can do everything on one platform - data integration, engineering, warehousing and BI in an efficient way 2) Strong integration with Power BI, did a lot of workflow automation after implementing fabric. 3) easy to integrate with other Microsoft tools to create a good Microsoft ecosystem
Pricing and licensing are difficult to understand. I always find it troublesome when I try to explain how this works to the procurement team. Despite having a quite well assembled core, some features feel like they have been glued together (rather than a fully cohesive whole). Governance capabilities could be improved.
1. It takes some effort to learn the service 2. Some features should work according to Microsoft's online documentation, but they don't work 3. It is quite complicated, sometimes, you can get confused by the complexity
1) Can be hectic in huge data use cases, may be less effective than big data platforms 2) It is best to use the whole ecosystem then you can take actual benefit from fabric 3) Documentation could have been more details for trouble shooting

Power BI Integration Streamlines Data, But Regional Stability Issues Affect Workflows
Offers robust integration but stability concerns about some issues in conections and regions frequently disrupt workflows. Overall sentiment is mixed, potential is high. - Data Analyst50M-1B USDMediaReview Source
A powerful, unified Analytics Platform.
The main reason for this tool to be exceptional is that it has everything in one place. You can combine all the data from different sources and create data pipelines without thinking much about configurations and all and at the same time you can visualize your data for stats and analysis with the connected power BI capability. - DATA AND ANALYTICS MANAGERGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
