Microsoft Project: the learning curve is challenging to conquer
Microsoft Project has not been widely adopted in our organization. It is an excellent detailed project management tool that enables detailed scheduling and visibility into resourcing availability. Microsoft Project facilitates understanding dependencies/relationships between tasks, breaking down projects into intuitive tasks, and visualizing deadlines. It also makes it simple to update schedules when timelines shift. However, because of its learning curve, it is challenging to get others on a project to invest in the commitment to understand how to use this software.
