the ease of use. i can manage almost everything from one window. 1. the only other screen you might need to open is scripting, but as far as day to day management, N-Central is well laid out and responsive. i dont have to worry about fast talk, probes being on the same subnet, none of that nonsense. im pretty happy with the ability to use this on Mac (out the box) and Linux (needs some work, but i can get it working so its not impossible). it also incorporates with my EDR IDTR huntress stuff, and i like that.
I like the tools available for every endpoint. being able to pull files and send them, run CMD remotely and the various tasks.
It handles devices properly (IDs, inventory, tenancy etc.) Analytics actually gives useful data once you set it up Monitoring is granular and does what it says on the tin Automation Manager PowerShell = decent control Multi-tenant setup works well for MSP reality Integrates enough with Autotask to make cross-system stuff possible Once youve engineered a workflow, it doesnt randomly fall over
i feel like there have been a lot of network issues lately. nothing wrong with the product, but i dislike outages. they accuracy of some of the stats are strange. some days the logged in user field is accurate and i can tell who on my team is connected to what. other days, that doesnt work. i dont like features that arent reliable. and i dont like that they push notifications and webinar information thru the portal. i have an email, send the spam to my inbox, dont force me to see it in the portal where i am trying to work. reporting could use some major work, but i am told that is being overhauled in the very near future.. learn to use the API is my advice.
I dont like the OS Version how it doesnt show the full version number I dont like not being able to search the file system or enter a path in the reg editor I dont like that how big the area is to rename a folder or file in the file system when youre trying to click into a directory
Reporting is all over the shop (Report Manager vs Analytics vs Legacy) No clean device user site customer relationship out of the box AzureAD/Entra identity stuff feels bolted on, not supported UI is dated and everything takes too many clicks to discover Documentation is thin and assumes tribal knowledge Onboarding a new customer is way more manual than it should be Compliance/audit outputs need external tools to make them presentable

Hands-down my fav RMM; no fluff, all in one pane, N-Central is doing it right.
ive used lots of RMM in my 25+ years and N-Central is the latest and overall, my favorite RMM. it was very easy for me to get started with it and because it relies on more native Windows than proprietary sofware, the learning curve was much smaller. all the training that i needed to use/automate wasnt needed for N-Central at all. i was immediately able to get started with the Automation Manager and begin scripting with N-Central.. i didnt even need the directions, it was a very intuitive process and didnt take me long to figure out. - IT Manager<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
My honest review of over 15 years of experience with N-Central.
N-Central has proven to be a powerful but uneven platform. At its core, it is still an old-school MSP RMM built around monitoring and remediation, and when it sticks to that lane, it does well — excellent device visibility, decent automation, a proper probe architecture, and a scalable data model. The biggest learning curve has been the fragmentation of functionality across legacy views, Analytics dashboards, and Report Manager, with some features only existing in one of the three and no guarantee they align. The experience is ultimately capable but not cohesive, requiring perseverance to assemble real operational outcomes. Once workflows are understood, you can produce very strong results — e.g. automated CI/Contact sync for Autotask, tenant-level device census, user/device reconciliation, and compliance visibility — but none of this is “out the box”, nor particularly discoverable. - IT Security & Risk Management AssociateGov't/PS/EdGovernmentReview Source
Comprehensive Monitoring Tools and Real-Time Alerts Enhance Device Management Efficiency
My overall experience NCentral RMM has been positive, the platform is reliable, offers a strong set of monitoring tools and makes managing devices efficient, the interface is mostly intuitive but there is some learning curve for advanced features. - Manager, Customer Service and Support<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
Comprehensive Product Features and Helpful Support Highlight N-Able Experience

Great functionality and excellent support, however minor bugs do persist
Outstanding is probably not what I'd say but more on the better side of Average. The product generally works reasonably well for what it's designed for, albeit a decent amount of little bugs etc. that make day-to-day usage a little annoying.
