I would like to highlight the effort and cost earned value feature, which actually generates a forecast with great precision. There are also many new features besides the core functionalities, such as RACI, that help to accurately determine responsibilities. Probably the biggest innovation and the greatest added value is the new connection to Jira via JQL Queries.
The software is highly sophisticated an specifically tailored for program and project managers. It enables a rapid and thorough overview of both the project portfolio and specific projects
The support team is very responsive, and we particularly appreciate that feedback and ideas for improvements are taken seriously and are often considered for implementation.
There is not enough documentation to create reports. The problem is that the database fields are named differently than the fields visible in the frontend, which is why creating reports is time-consuming and not trivial.
The biggest problem is the outages of the product and the problems with the synchronization to jira
In some areas the interface is not always very intuitive, and it can take some time to find certain functions because the page structure can feel a bit complex. However, improvements are currently being worked on, and the new solution looks very promising.

After rolling out Planforge in other subsidiaries of our company group, I received very positive feedback on the usability of the tool. Within an hour, the basic functionalities are explained and users are able to work independently with Planforge. Also it has a very good authorization concept that allow us to use it in security-critical areas. Deploying new servers is very fast and using virtual machines, Planforge is extremely failsafe. The operation in Kubernetes is currently being evaluated. Programm with many possibilities
I find the possibilities that Planforge offers very comprehensive. The communication with Planforge in general for any kind of questions or inquires is great, additionally the support team is very helpful!
