Performance of Qostodian Across Market Features
Qostodian Likes & Dislikes
I really like how easy Qostodian makes it to find sensitive data across all our different systems. It's fast, straightforward to use, and has saved us a ton of time. I also appreciate that the team keeps improving it based on real user feedback.
It is intuitive and it is able to give insights where no other tools were able to do before. We are able to tackle multiple angles with one tool and interface, from the people, to the actual datasource and finally the end sensitive information
The product does a great job of identifying sensitive data straight out of the box, meaning that not many custom rules need to be put into place in order to get a solid inventory of sensitive data. The team at QoHash takes customer opinions and suggestions seriously and will promptly add new features and functionality based on suggestions (where possible). The product is very straight forward and easy to use.
At first, there were a lot of false positives, which made it harder to trust the results. A lot of it was because our internal data looked similar to sensitive pattern. The good thing is they've fixed a lot of it with updates, but some fine-tuning is still needed depending on your setup. They helped us to solve this problem.
The raw data extraction part is lacking but I know they are working on it
Inability to create customized dashboards (which I believe may be coming in the future). False positives on sensitive data.

Powerful tool for analyzing risky data within your organization
The software does an excellent job of finding sensitive data from user devices, network drives, and Office 365. It makes it fairly easy to see what files are a problem, where these files were found, and exactly what it found that it thinks is sensitive. While there are false positives, it attaches a 'score' to findings and generally results with high scores have been exactly what the software has claimed it is. Implementation was fairly painless. The company assisted us with the most complicated steps (integration with Office 365), and beyond that getting the agent installed on end-user devices with inTune worked pretty well. Server updates are cloud based, so there's little maintenance needed once it's all configured. My main criticism at the moment is that the reporting functions are rather lacking. Not the reporting to the portal user, but getting that data into a PDF or Excel report that management can digest. I've been told this is something they are actively working on, but for now it's definitely the biggest feature that needs work. - System Administrator<50M USDTransportationReview Source
