Custom objects make it possible to model almost any business process directly on the platform. Permissions and sharing rules allow for very granular access control. Once designed properly, the platform supports large user bases, complex integrations, and long-term growth without needing constant rework

The platform is powerful and highly customizable. As expected, it integrates great with Salesforce and most enterprise tools. It provides a wide range of capabilities such as automation, custom app development or analytics in a single unified environment which is quite useful.

I like that the tool is intuitive and easy to navigate. It was designed in a very logical way that enables users to onboard quickly and self discover the features that the tool has to offer. I also like that the tool is adaptable by the business to transform it to the needs of the business. Because of Salesforce's flexibility to incorporate workflows, most of my day to day work is consolidated into one tool.

Dislike

The platforms flexibility can lead to over-engineered solutions if theres no governance in place. Admin and developer work can overlap in confusing ways, making ownership unclear. Performance and maintainability can suffer if automation and data models arent carefully designed.

It is definitely not a no-code solution and may be it can be labelled as a low-code one, however it is not very accessible for teams without relevant Salesforce development skills which in the end gets you trapped with a specialist partner for this part as well. User interface could be better.

I dislike the Salesforce add-on in Microsoft Outlook. It is difficult to use. A second thing that is lacking is the mobile experience, a lot of people in our organization do not utilize the mobile app due to not mirroring the ease of use that the desktop version gives. The tool can feel a bit cluttered at times is a third dislike.

    It's a good tool to manage data and a great thing that I can connect it to google sheets using G-Connector, which is what I use in my reports. You can easily customize reports. But there are limitations that you have to do manual update on some cases in order to get data correctly.
