This product is robust after the setup and configuration is complete. It works best when your requirements are fixed and not constantly changing. Any thing you have in production works great as long as there are no changes/experimentation and your workflows are fixed.
Robust solution fully supported by Seeburger
There are no service delivery meetings nor any other frequent follow up calls with management level. This is causing invisibility for future roadmaps and also causing a lack of strategy level viewpoints. Also, improving relationships and cooperation is then not happening organized way. Disappointment has been also Seeburger skills and knowledge for Poland eInvoicing. We selected Seeburger as a partner for this project but eventually a lot of knowledge we have been needed to bring from external consulting. One other thing is that Seeburger has rather tight and inflexible resources who could support us. Often when someone is off or there is changes in roles or someone is leaving, then support team is not able to be backfill properly. This we have seen even we have some timelines agreed for high prio topics.
The number of servers and components you need to make the environment work seems more than necessary. Difficult to learn and use front end interface. There are no easy ways to connect to Cloud providers. Some components are buggy and needs constant vendor provided fixes.

BIS6 is a connection system complete and reliable
BIS6 is a connection system complete and reliable. We use BIS5 since 2006 and we migrated to BIS6 in 2018. With BIS6 we translate simply and safely way SAP IDOCs in flat files EDI, CSV files and XML files, and we deliver the translated files to systems with different platforms BIS6 performs these operations efficiently even though they may occur contemporaneous translation of hundreds of files. It take few seconds to receipt, translate and deliver files to final system. In case of error BIS6 sends a detailed MAIL to one or more email addresses and / or mailing lists.
