Sitecore is *usable* and can be customized in really efficient ways.
What I like most about the Sitecore platform is its ability to deliver personalized digital experiences by using customer data to tailor content effectively. I also appreciate how it offers a strong, flexible content management system that makes it easy to create and publish content across multiple channels form one place.
Personalize being a cloud product allows us to get instant new products and enhancements, which we can use straight away and that has helped us to run quick tests etc, before we commit to building more permanent features.
Content Hub leaves a little to be desired, especially outside the product sales environments. It seems to be built for product sales. I'd like to see more in the way of large organization tools. Sitecore is completely buildable, which is great, but there are some things that should just come standard: The authoring environment doesn't allow for lower-level page authors who need to pass through an approvals flow. That has to be developed, but should come standard. Sitecore AI will receive improvements over time, but comparison products are leaving a bit to be desired. I would like to enter full competitor URLs for apples-to-apples pages and see differences. We're not there yet.
The product is great. The service that Sitecore provides however could be better. Their customer success managers and the level of support that they provide is often lackluster.
I think with Personalize being de-coupled from the CDP product, it has presented some challenges that could have been easily achieved by having both products.
