The what-if scenarios allow us to model and answer the question we most often get when an unexpected IT project comes up: How do we fit this in? We are also coming to see the power of the Insights dashboards and reports.
it is a cool product
We were able to implement Tempus within a short number of months, the user interface is modern with a relatively low learning curve, and we are able to get insights our teams have never had before.
Ideally, we would like the software to use our project priorities, skill requirements, skill matrix, and availability to suggest project start dates. Tempus Resource is not all the way there, but they do seem to be making progress in that direction. Our biggest challenge is that we would like to change the first day of the week from Monday to Sunday to align with our tracked time from an integrated system. We are also cautious of our licensing count, and careful to watch for overages as our managed resource pool expands.
the support is limited because it is a remote support and not onsite
We've had some unique feature requirements that are not currently part of ProSymmetry, which have required work-arounds or customization to achieve. But in all cases, ProSymmetry has worked with us to find the best solution at reasonable cost.
