“Strong Developer Community and Platform Maturity Offset UiPath Support Challenges”

4.0
Sep 4, 2025
We adopted UiPath four years ago during the height of the labor shortages brought on by the pandemic. Product's rankings initially drew us in, and UiPath's vision and capabilities made them the logical choice. Overall, the platform has lived up to expectations: development is straightforward, we've had no trouble finding skilled talent, and the ecosystem is mature and supportive. On the other hand, our experience with sales and support has been uneven. Earlier sales representatives were very engaged, helpful, and proactive in connecting us to resources; the most recent handoff left us with less engaged support, which has been disappointing. The Enterprise Success Program has been valuable in some respects - our Technical Account Manager has helped us understand new technology and mature our platform - but the broader program would have been more useful during our first year of implementation than in later years. Despite these drawbacks, UiPath remains our chosen partner because of their market position, maturity, and strong community.

“Drag And Drop Functionality Enables Wider Team Involvement Despite Coding Limitations”

3.0
Sep 11, 2025
As it provides drag and drop functionality so team members who have no deep knowledge in .net coding can also contibute. It's easy to integrate with our old code repositories like clear case and latest like GIT and Perforce for binary and configs etc. Limitations are the use of other coding languages. Overall good product and value for money.

UiPath Agentic Automation Likes & Dislikes

Like

UiPath is intuitive for developers and widely known in the automation space, which has made recruiting new talent relatively easy. The learning curve for the platform is reasonable, and compared to other large platforms, my developers find UiPath more logical and less cumbersome to work with. In addition, the UiPath community is active, their conferences are strong learning opportunities, and their forums/events provide a wealth of shared experience and best practices.

Like

Workflow designing is easy as per our client's business use case. As we use invoice/bill generation in pdf, so it's helpful and fast to make it. Product is good as for any kind of workflow error, it's easy to go into logs and find the exact error in the integrated environment. like API failure or response error etc. Integration with customer's old lagacy systems is easy like salesforce and some inventory management systems in SAP.

Like

What I like most about UiPath is its ability to simplify and accelerate automation development through an intuitive and well-structured environment. The platform offers a rich library of pre-built activities, connectors, and templates that significantly reduce development time and allow us to focus on solving business challenges rather than building everything from scratch. I also value its strong orchestration and monitoring capabilities. UiPath Orchestrator provides full visibility of our automation ecosystem, making it easy to schedule, manage, and scale robots as our needs grow. This has been essential for maintaining reliability and operational continuity to automated processes. Additionally, the constant evolution of the platform, especially with AI-powered features, document understanding, and improved integrations, has enabled us to expand use cases and deliver more impactful automation initiatives across the organization.

Dislike

The inconsistency in sales and account management support has been the biggest drawback. In four years, we've gone through four different sales representatives. The early ones were excellent - responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in helping us navigate resources. More recently, the level of engagement has dropped significantly. In addition, the Enterprise Success Program feels mismatched to where we are now; while the Technical Account Manager adds value, the Program Manager support is less useful in an established program than a fledgling one. Finally, their annual events are costly and not designed with mid-level managers in mind (their promotions and discounts are geared towards c-suite only), which limits access for those who could benefit most from attending.

Dislike

First drawback is to get customer care support from UiPath team. It takes lot of time. It is heavily dependent on Dotnet platform. It's good with frequent updates however when upgraded to uipath 2024.10 release it broke lot of our workflows. so after study of full release features only we can upgrade next update.

Dislike

Some of its components, especially those related to advanced automation, AI features and document understanding, still require considerable configuration effort and can feel complex for new or non-technical users. While the platform is useful, achieving optimal performance sometimes involves navigating multiple tools, packages, or dependencies that are not always straightforward.

Any Automation CoE's that centralized enterprise RPA (ex: UiPath or AA) and low-Code automation (ex: MS Power Automate)  platforms as part of their organizations?  What were the primary drivers for organizing this way?  Benefits?
Program Director, Intelligent Automation + Entrepreneur
I have tried to decentralize RPA, but it's really difficult since to build them you need a software development background, it takes a month of training, and you need to be continuously building to keep one's skillset honed. RDA on the other hand is great to democratize.

We have ServiceNow as a platform and I need to automate our Joiners, Movers and Leavers process. ServiceNow are trying to push their HR module which is overkill for what I need. We have also implemented some RPA with UiPath which seems to be going well. Has anyone been able to successfully automate JML? Is so, would you mind sharing any tips?
VP of IT
I would recommend RPA long term due to it's major reliance on the GUI. In theory you can MVP with RPA for a period of time until you have a more elegant solution leveraging for example an Azure pipeline that can trigger some of the actions needed on AD and other systems.

A Next-Generation Automation Platform That Brings RPA and AI Agents Together

    4.0
    Oct 1, 2025
UiPath Agentic Automation enables us to take automation beyond deterministic tasks and begin orchestrating workflows involving AI agents, robots, and human inputs. The platform is still maturing, but its vision of "agentic orchestration" shows real promise. This is a powerful next step for organizations that want to evolve from traditional RPA to more adaptive automation.

Migrated from another RPA tool - UiPath delivered better governance, scalability, and ROI

    5.0
    Sep 15, 2025
We migrated from another RPA platform because scaling was becoming painful - Licensing was rigid, and governance was limited. UiPath offers a more mature Orchestrator, better integration options, and a strong roadmap. The transition wasn't trivial (bot refactoring and retraining took effort), but the payoff was worth it. Today, we run more processes with fewer stability issues and have better visibility into bot performance
