What I like most about Zoho is listed below: 1) Their kanban view of tasks which is very helpful from a UI perspective 2) Their issues section is really helpful because QA can directly log issues on specific tasks after the developer completes it 3) Their live chat feature for instant support
We thought we were going to like the dependency set-up the most but it was really rigid and made it hard to work with tasks in a way that made sense to our team. To be honest, we were very relieved when after 6 months we decided to scrap the product and move to something else. It's been about 6 months now since we switched and we are so thankful we did. The only good thing that we learned from our experience with Zoho was that it's best to keep our documents on a separate drive and link to them from Project Management software. If you upload files directly to PM software, you will be stuck doing a lot of downloading and transferring when you decide to move to something new.
Ability to track project progress in real-time. Simplicity of the software and availability of quality customer services. The product has amazing integration and reporting capabilities. Availability of customizable widgets and templates.
Things I don't like about Zoho projects are: 1) Sometimes after stopping the timer, the time we have logged is gone and shows 00:00 2) It is not fully mobile responsive. If I want to turn off my timer from mobile then it is really hard to navigate. 3) The list view is little bit overwhelming if we have many tasks or tickets.
The rigidity, the lack of customer service (easy to message, but the answer was always disappointing), and the extremely difficult on-board.
The product is one of its kind. We have not faced unmanageable challenges during setting up and general implementation process.
