Salesforce Sales Cloud Likes & Dislikes
I like how customizable Sales Cloud is, it's a game-changer for sure. I admin 6 different businesses and it has helped simplify a lot of the business processes. It has helped us bridge the gap between businesses by giving them one place to collaborate, track interactions and manage accounts. In addition to that, it's become a tool for the sales teams to use while planning meetings and visits with potential customers and current customers. They can go in and see the most recent activity to help them better prepare.
It's a very configurable platform - there are some exceptions but as long as you don't go too wild, you can get a lot done through integration, automation and customer facing technology. SF is very clear in their roadmap about what is going to be supported and what isn't, which is helpful when planning purchases. Flow automation keeps getting better and better every season, but it's still not as intuitive as the older and now defunct Process Builder.
Sales Cloud covers nearly every aspect of the sales process - lead capture to opportunity tracking to forecasting and post-sale follow up. Historical data capture on fields that change over time is a massive advantage over other CRMs and makes up for some of the challenges that come with it.
With Salesforce in general, almost everything is an additional cost. Whether it be another cloud service, a feature license, and sometimes even the integrations.
The lack of care in bringing functionality that's been requested for multiple years, by multiple customers. SF is hell bent on AI adoption, at the expense of very simple, effective fixes.
The requirements for a third party tool to dedupe, manage lead routing, and run outbound sequences is a pain. Each tool has it's own cost, implementation, and learning curve to fit the use case. Also, why does the Lead object still exist?? Consolidating Leads and Contacts would simplify lifecycle stages and make reporting and lead management a lot easier.

Sales Teams Benefit from Activity Tracking, Though Added Features Require Extra Spending
Working with Salesforce has been a very positive experience. The platform is a powerful tool that can be customized using the majority of declarative methods as well as code. We use it for account management, lead management, opportunity tracking and reporting. My work with this CRM has been anywhere from process automation, optimizing page layouts, cleaning up data, and improving business workloads. Our Salesforce account team is responsive and helpful to our needs which is a huge bonus. Another benefit of Salesforce Sales Cloud is that it integrates with a majority of other systems and if it doesn't integrate directly, more than often than not you can integrate via API. - IT MANAGER50M-1B USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
Continual and Unmet Feature Requests detract from Salesforce.com's User Experience
Salesforce Sales Cloud is a great tool and very customizable platform, but their post-sales service and experience leaves much to be desired even if you are in a large billed customer. They will constantly market to you, without actually looking at what you're doing or how you're using the product. Paying for premium support does only guarantee you a fast response, but not necessarily a quality one. - SALES MANAGER<50M USDSoftwareReview Source

Salesforce Sales Cloud: Feature-packed but Expect Learning Curve
Using Salesforce Sales Cloud feels like having a really powerful toolset that occasionally forgets that normal humans have to use it. Once you get past the learning curve (and there is a learning curve), it becomes a pretty solid daily companion for tracking deals, accounts and all the sales tasks that would usually slip through the cracks. I like that the customization is a real win. The system can be molded into whatever workflow your team needs. - MANAGER<50M USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
Detailed Lead Tracking Improves Accountability But Messaging Features Remain Underutilized
I have used this for the past 3 years and find it to be a reliable hub to funnel in leads and manage converting my lead pipeline into opportunities, leading to revenue and growth for my business.
