CipherTrust Data Security Posture Management Likes & Dislikes
It is really good to see key insights and alerts on our databases that we have an agent installed on. It provides a good overview of the vulnerabilities associated with the database and easily explains how those can be remediated. The roadblock we have run into is getting database owners or analysts to actually read the information form the platform and understand what it is conveying. This isn't an issue on the Imperva end but it can be daunting for others who have never been in the platform to try and make sense of the information it is getting from the databases.
The auditing options has been one of the most useful features, the way you can customize rules and tuning the tool overall.
1. predefined security policies 2. Easy UI 3. good support
It looks like it was built more for engineers as opposed to non-engineers. However, with a little learning and trial and error, it becomes easier to navigate and understand. You also need to have a decent knowledge of databases in order to use its full potential.
The UX of the interface could be improved for sure. The initial setup requires definitely deep knowledge of the tool so the implementation could be complex.
You can't define more complex logic in one rule, this is a bad side. You need to create 2 other rules for that.

Imperva: The Best in the Market for Database Alerts and Vulnerabilities
Imperva has been a great product to use but it was a bit of a challenge to get set up and integrated into our environment. The Imperva PS team was great to work with and did their job well, but it was still a challenge if you don't have little database experience. There was a great knowledge transfer after the product was set up and it did help us get moving forward. However, unless you are actively in the platform on a daily basis or work with database analysts, it can be a challenge to navigate and keep your environment in a healthy state. Imperva has been great with helping and answering our questions. - SENIOR CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER50M-1B USDTelecommunicationReview Source
Imperva's DAM Tool: Securing Database Operations and Activities
Imperva's DAM tool is a great tool for monitoring database activity and also applying some security policies to control SQL operations. Also, we are excluding some bulk operations related to service users, we ca do that with a generic dictionary or signatures in audit policy or do that in security policy. - IT SECURITY & RISK MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE<50M USDSoftwareReview Source

Robust and Effective Database Monitoring with Some Opportunities for Improvement
Imperva Database Security has met our company's needs for monitoring database changes. They make it easy to set up filters and look for or weed out specific changes to the data, and their report options make reviewing the changes much easier than it otherwise would be. Support isn't always helpful at first as they try to just point you at documentation that might not answer your question, but they are responsive and will ensure they answer your question eventually. - Technical Security Engineer1B-10B USDIT ServicesReview Source
