Cost effective solution. Strong security capabilities and a good comprehensive solution if you need device-based management rather than user-based.
We like the powerful scripting and sensor capabilities of macOS. It allows us to go beyond standard profiles and automate complex administrative tasks and data collection.
It has broad device management capabilities, strong policy and security controls and the ability to manage end points from a central platform. It is well suited to larger or more complex environments where consistent invisibility matters. It also offers good integration across the wider digital workspace ecosystem.
Vendor support is always a challenge. The licensing is quite rigid. Migration challenge from WS1 to another platform. Sometimes the device enrollment process is delayed during the HUB client installation and device sync to platform.
As an on-premise customer, we struggle with inconsistent console performance (slowness) and the sheer complexity of keeping all the server components updated.
It can be overly complex, and the time needed to become fully comfortable with the set up is quite long, as well as the fact that some set up in policy can feel less intuitive than expected. While there can be some overhead in maintaining an optimising environment over time, while the feature set a stronger user experience could be simpler in several spaces.

The platform is really quick to manage the policies and devices but tricky to avoid impact because of inheritance from top towards bottom.
