I love the depth and breadth of information I can view at any time on the entire fleet, specific groups, or even individual machines, with quick overviews available for fleet health, current incidents, and basically anything else I'd need on a regular basis. Being able to, from a single interface, manage and remediate issues is incredibly nice, so I don't have to worry about remoting in or physically touching a machine. And knowing that issues are going to be alerted to us quickly, and if there are issues, the SOC is monitoring to see if something more serious is happening, really helps take a lot off of our plates.
Our reps are very helpful and responsive when we need assistance. Because of the UI, we have had to contact them pretty frequently.
ESET's staff are knowledgeable, easy to work with, and no obstacles to communication. The products ability to identify anomalies and issues is excellent. Round the clock protection ensures your environment is protected even when your internal staff's attention is on other things.
The biggest issue I've had is devices falling off the platform, sometimes seemingly at random. Occasionally devices that do not connect to the internet regularly will fall off, which makes sense, but we do have devices which seem to just stop reporting, and we will have to manually intervene to get them reconnected. To their credit though, we do get alerts and communication when this happens, so we are able to take action quickly. Deployment is also something that we are working on making easier, but it would be nice if there was a clearer method to have the endpoint software automatically push out and activate, as currently we can either manually install the package and it will activate or we can push a package through our MDM platform but we still need to manually enable the product. One other minor issue with the endpoint software is that it will throw an error saying that there are system updates available for devices even if they are not configured to receive certain updates immediately, so that error will persist until we have pushed that update to that device group. It would be nice if the platform could integrate that information so some devices do not have a persistent update notification, as that may lead to some users ignoring issues altogether.
I dislike the unintuitive UI.
The Management Interface can take some getting used to. But it's not really an issue as they walk you through the full configuration process and do all the tuning for you.

ESET MDR Enhances Small Team Capabilities
I wasn't involved in evaluations, contracts, or the transition to ESET MDR, but my experience using the platform has been excellent. Our team is very small for the size of the company and ESET has allowed me to extend my capabilities much further than I expected. I don't spend my time worrying I'll miss a security issue in our fleet, I can proactively take care of issues and spend my time working on larger projects rather than babysitting individual workstations. - Infrastructure Vice President, Informati50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
ESET - A Powerful solution, providing round the clock security at a fair price point
ESET has created a very powerful product for understanding what is happening on your network and endpoints. The MDR solution gives a the best meshing of all worlds where your internal staff is empowered with strong information, but they are backed up by a 24/7 ESET SOC watching your devices and armed with information about what is happening globally. - IT Manager50M-1B USDRetailReview Source
Extensive Features and Strong Support Highlight ESET Experience, With Minor Drawbacks
Overall contact with ESET is excellent. The product performs as expected and contains many features (more than required). There are however some small details that could be improved, Eset has a good review process where new feature requests are taken into consideration. Contact responses are rapid. - IT Associate<50M USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
Reliable MDR with low overhead
Overall, Eset has been reliable and stable. Endpoint performance impact has been low, detections have been accurate, and alerts have been received that are able to be responded to. - IT Manager<50M USDManufacturingReview Source
