The 8x8 Work experience and how it translates from traditional VoIP hard phones to the 8x8 Work app is incredibly helpful in today's hybrid workplace model. Users have multiple options available to them when it comes to being available via their number. Additionally, their integration with SSO via SAML makes it a breeze to administer user accounts. The 8x8 backend is also feature rich; auto attendants, ring groups, and the ability to set call forwarding rules on a per account basis helps us achieve whatever is needed by users as needs and wants change over time.
The actual service itself seems to be stable, and we haven't had any major outages.

The function to set up SMS is quite lengthy and time consuming. While it's not their fault, the need to set up a campaign and have it approved can take a while. This should be accounted for when planning to configure the SMS feature.
Sales rep flat out lied about features to get the sale. Then showed no remorse when challenged. The tenant was built incorrectly. The Engineer did not set up all the features we asked for. Account support has been terrible. Account managers are constantly changing without any sort of notification. We've had escalations that were never resolved. Due to an accounting error, we were double-billed for an entire year, and getting a credit back has taken months (still not resolved).
Phone app - There are times that it takes a few minutes to load Other than that, I haven't found anything else I dislike about the product so far
