BambooHR

BambooHR feature I like the most is that the employees of the company can use it easily with much difficulty. Employees can see their details like payroll, attendance details, leaves status, leaving office timing, performance details without contacting HR again and again. Another feature I like about BambooHR is that it also has a strong built-in reporting system, and HR teams can easily generate reports to overview the performance of the employees without needing core IT skills.

The user-friendly design and less complex platform benefits the employee side, especially for new hires, open enrollment, and updating personal data. It could be a nice HRIS option for smaller and mid-sized employers.

I appreciate the User Experience for the employee, the ease of use for the HR team, it is simple to modify the settings, the offboarding and onboarding processes are very smooth, the document signature is very well designed.

BambooHR is very useful for small enterprises, but when it comes to large enterprises where HR manages many complex and large workflows, BambooHR cannot provide the advanced customized modules due to its limitation. Another drawback of BambooHR is its integration with other platforms like multi-entry setups, which creates a tricky situation for the company over time.

Limited customization and lack of advanced reporting within the system makes this platform often challenging to audit and confirm data as an analyst or administrator.

The custom reporting is not very well designed: it is not possible to add more than one filter directly in the menu, so you end up doing everything in the file you download. It is also not possible to add calculated fields. The Performance Review process is very rigid: dates and visibilities can't be customized. Support only consists of a ticketing system, which is not always excellent if you have an urgent problem.
