Cora PPM Likes & Dislikes
I like how you can link many parts of the system together. Risks can be linked to a task on the Gantt, that can be linked to a user that can have a cost estimated against it. The customisation of the system allows for organisations to manage the way they want/need. The over all system architecture is realitivly intuative especially when compared to other PPM tools
I like having everything I need in one place to perform my project related tasks. It's much easier to see what's in flight, what's approved, and how things line up with priorities and funding. Not only that, but it also brings structure to conversations that used to feel somewhat disorganized.
customer support, project tracking capabilities
System stability remains a nagging issue, with various functionality breaking upon version updates. driving down confidence in system data. inability for finance module data to roll up project into project into programme. UI is becoming dated. Inability to send users a link directly to a part of the system, i.e. please review this risk insert link Inability to view a simplified project/programme gantt. current view is not intuitive enough and does not allow the project team to understand the flow of the project.
The tool can feel heavy at times as configuration and updates take effort, so it's not something you can just set up and forget. This is a learning curve staff should be aware of and add extra time into their routine to figure out which is not very ideal. Also, compared to other tools, reporting can feel rigid, which sometimes leads teams to export data and work around the system to understand it.
some lack of features such as exporting dashboards to powerpoint

Portfolio Management Easier Yet Tool Setup and Updates Demand Extra Time
My experience with Cora PPM has been mixed but generally positive. It's a solid tool for portfolio visibility and prioritization, especially when I need like a centralized view of my projects. That being said, there’s a learning curve, and some workflows I do find to feel heavier than they need to be. Once it's set up, it can be useful for funding and governance management. - Manager, Project Management50M-1B USDManufacturingReview Source
Aging User Interface And Stability Concerns Affect Otherwise Flexible PPM Solution
The system is very capable and covers all that our organization needs in a PPM tool including resource planning, gantt, risk and issues logs, and financial management. there are some UI elements now shoing there age, and occasionally has peroids of function breaking bugs - Project Manager<50M USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Exploring Ease of Use and Setup Experience With Dashboard and Forms
It's been great so far. It's easy to use and set up dashboards and forms. - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR DIGITAL PORTFOLIO MANGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
Cora PPM Tool-user friendly and intuitive, vendor immature in customer service and quality
The product is easy enough to use as a PPM tool and has been easily/quickly adopted by our PPM community as it suits what we are looking to do. As an organisation, Cora was unable to meet the commitments made to us during the contract negotiation process and as a result the implementation of two key capabilities within the product suite were so late that we are not able to use them so are not getting the expected value. As an organization, Cora appears to be fairly immature in terms of customer experience / customer service and quality management practices; which require us (customer) to point out processes or experiences that don't make any sense from a customer perspective. We continue to be assured that this is a focus for them and things could / should improve however we haven't seen much change over the calendar year and I would suggest prospective clients bear this in mind when assessing the overall product / service offering. - Head of Project Services10B+ USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Portfolio Reporting Efficiency Improves Despite Initial Challenges
The implementation process was slow and there was constant change with personnel on the Cora team. As a company they are growing very quickly and we saw a lack of knowledge of the product and the sharing of best practices. Once we finally got the right team, the process improved.
