The benefit of having access to this knowledge without having these resources available inside the company.
After documentation all stakeholders, systems and processing activities it became so easy to map data flows and provide sufficient information to answer DSRs, perform assessments or facilitate incident and risk mitigation management. We never miss any reporting deadlines. Exeptionally to be mentioned is the support of our account manager, Albin, who was always eager to help and self-motivated to find solutions and drive their implementation.
I cannot think of a dislike at this time.
Still, we see some room for improvement. On the one hand, we truly endeavor data flow visualization but on the other, the overview of details of processing activities, including lots of information, sometimes gets a bit overwhelming or even confusing at first. When answering DSRs the display or export function for some use cases is not specific enough to avoid manual work to extract certain information, such as a list of all systems containing personal data of a specific set of processing activities. Also, the design of the platform and training feels a bit outdated.
