Having everything in one platform is quite nice. I've been person of contact for Dataroid and I can say that I can get most things in the same platform. Having behavioral analytics and app engagement together is great because it saves me the trouble of tracking multiple vendors. I usually combine funnel analytics with Dataroid's user paths feature, and I can understand where users drop off from certain in-app funnels and what they do after they're drop off. Finally, working in the financial industry, data accuracy is very important for us and we can trust Dataroid with our eyes closed in this matter.
Data visualization and charts are quite powerful. Journey analytics features like funnels, and user paths are used daily in my team. Having engagement layer directly inside the platform is also very nice since we do not have to spend precious time dealing with connecting the analytics tool to a third-party engagement tool. Everything can be done in the same platform which means that several teams can benefit from Dataroid.
As the Mobile Product Owner at a digital bank, data privacy, platform reliability, and real-time insight velocity are core requirements. The platform is feature-intensive, which is nice, but it also means there is a learning curve. If this is your first time with an analytics tool like this, you will need to spend some time before you can start getting creative. You will need to get training which is provided during onboarding. Also, this is definitely not a product you can buy online. It has an enterprise pricing so you will need to go through a process.
Dataroid collects an overwhelming amount of data and the platform is very feature-intensive. You will need to get training on how to use self-serving analytics. Training is provided during onboarding, but if you're looking to get comfortable and creative with the tool and produce advanced results, you will need to spend time getting your hands dirty with the tool. This is a SaaS product and it cannot be bought online, so you will need to go through a process for the purchase which can take some time.
i dont have a mahor dislike, but the push and in-app engagement modules could benefit from more advanced visual customizated option.
