Another great feature is file download protection with on the fly rewriting of untrusted files eg: DOCX to ensure any malicious content is removed while the user can access the information he/she requires. Quick win for significantly improving end user security
Menlo's browser isolation was easy to configure and deploy. Category settings make it easy to exclude personal privacy sites like banking, medical, and other trusted sites. The browser isolation product is transparent to the user, which is helpful for user adoption. There is no change to user interaction or look and feel. The only exception is an option for a Menlo icon to show if users are in isolation. I chose to use that feature to promote confidence that banking and medical sites are not going through the site and to show that users are being protected on other riskier sites. We did have issues with access to some sites, mostly IT type tools, but exceptions were very easy to add and only took minutes. The Menlo Security Isolation Platform adds tremendous value to our information security program by keeping web based threats isolated far and away from our endpoints. It also prevents a large number of security events to follow up on since our detect and response tools are never triggered by web based threats.
