Key reason for using BitLocker is its native integration with Windows OS and ease of administration for encryption and decryption process. Microsoft BitLocker is truly a good encryption technology and i have found nothing to dislike. Previously we were using another technology for laptop encryption and we faced a lot of challenges when the laptop requires recovery and decryption.

Security made easy with BitLocker
BitLocker provides additional security to our devices, which are mainly portable Laptops. Should any device or harddisk be stolen, the data residing on it could not be revealed. BitLocker will ask the user to enter his decryption password upon booting the device. The software is very well integrated, so it makes security easy to use for the enduser. Mostly security adds a layer of complexity to the enduser but it is not the case here. It allows us also to encrypt all endpoint devices such as mobile phones.
