What I like most about about open text ppm is how it brings everything in one place i.e projects, resources, timelines and reporting.its really useful for getting a clear view of what is happening across teams without having to chase multiple spreadsheets or any other tools.The dashboards and workflow automation save a lot of manual effort and help keep everyone aligned.
It is user friendly, it has advanced integration feasibilities, it provides a wide range of workflows
I like how everything I need is in one place. I have portfolio visibility, calendars, and interactive dashboards. It also cuts costs for us because of its AI-supported automation. I also like that they have Demo Videos where they post them in public for their users. Also, like how they have supportive and customer-friendly support! Very fast to answer and reliable to help.
The main thing I dislike about the Open Text PPM is that the interface feels a bit dated and very intutive. It can take some time to find what you are looking for, especially for new users. Also, certain reports and configurations require more manual setup than expected. Once you get used to it it works fine but the initial learning curve is definitely noticeable.
There are multiple customization limitations. They can improve on their reporting and analytics by supporting customized data driven decisions.
I think they could improve their interface and make it a little more beginner-friendly. I also suggest they add more AI integration and automation mapping. My teammates are constantly asking about the phone integration feature, where we can directly text on the platform. That's something I would suggest too!
