I love that when hiring with remote, I don't have to worry about legal stuff because they are handled very well by the remote team. Another thing I love is that remote is quite proactive and notifies us of any change that might concern us ahead of time, so we stay well-informed regardless if we have to take any steps or not. The support team is also great, and are able to help with any matter we have. However, I have recently noticed a slight drop on the level of support, tickets are not being replied to for days, the information is not always accurate, etc. I hope this is just a temporary thing, and it'll go back to what it used to be soon.
I love that the platform acts as a single source of truth. Having contracts, compliance, onboarding and payroll under one digital roof is an upgrade from spreadsheets and email logs. The platform does have a user-friendly interface, allowing both admin and staff to navigate seamlessly.
Best thing is managing the HR operations on a single platform. Helps in staying compliant with localregulations without needing a separate vendor or manual processes. With a single click & you have all the information of an employee.
As mentioned above, the support team has had a decline on the level of support they offer. I've noticed that remote has started to take a turn into a full HRIS, which I correlate to the drop in the support we receive. I'm hoping things will go back to normal again, once these changes are fully implemented.
There is a disconnect between the technological speed it promises and the reality. For instance, if there is an error with the invoicing, you often hit walls since you are unable to resolve it yourself. You will have to reach out to chatbots or different representatives with slow turnover time. Personally, I'd prefer to fully manage something myself and have the ability to make changes without reaching out for support all the time.
Integration with third party tools or existing systems can be a bit limited. Example internal payroll and accouting platform wasnt as seemless as I hoped.
