The feature of UKG Pro I like the most is its strong analytics and reporting features. Because it has many tools and dashboards which provide very comprehensive reports to the HR which help them to see the talent of the employees, the performance gap between employees or teams and workforce trends. Another feature I like the most is the integration of many modules in one system like hiring process of the employee to joining the company and their analyze the employee performance metrics. All the modules are available in one UKG Pro Workforce Management platform and the enterprise does not have any other supporting platform for this.
The ADA tool is probably the easiest to file and submit ADA with the tools set up for the system.
Auto profile assignments are very handy, syncing with UKG Pro Core was easy for them to set up for us, and we like the various types of reporting we can get from the system.
UKG Pro has many strong tools available for HR, but sometimes it is very difficult to generate custom reports or any specific analytics. Because it is a very big platform, it takes time to learn it fully. So, learning to generate custom reports or analytics takes a long time.
Probably time management. This is clearly Kronos and still operates as a separate system outside of the wider UKG system. Support team is also really really hard to get ahold of and answers vary wildly with us being misled more often than led in the correct direction.
The system accruals can be cumbersome and tricky set up. Often times, we find that while our accrual rules appear complicated, complicated setups don't work most of the time. You need to really simplify the logic in the setting up of the accruals to make it function properly. Also, any time we create a new job or org level in UKG Pro HCM, someone has to go into WFM to map it, which is rather cumbersome.
