Insights tab which is the main dashboard providing visibility works fine. Number of public applications supported is very high. AI and SaaS security working in conjunction which is great. Local and global support is superb as we're utilizing the Focus and CSM services. Shadow applications seen in the dashboard provides us confidence for the general DSPM. Onboarding new applications is very easy.
If you use Palo Alto XSOAR or XSAIM the turn key integration and playbooks are great. The support for Azure Information Protection tag is acceptable and it can complement services and egress points AIP can not.
I like the clear visibiliy it provide into user activity and sensitve data across our cloud application. the automated risk insights and policy and policy recommendations make it easy to quickly address potential issues. it is a strong fit for organizations looing to tighten Saas governace without adding complexity.
Strata Cloud Management and SaaS Security is somewhat bulky. There should be an easy way to monitor, configure and enforce the applications. I wish there were templates for easy onboarding. Strata copilot is trying to assist the administrators with general questions but it's not action oriented. As it's a SCM for the data security side, there should be a teamwork for the platform and data. Too many applications shown in the dashboard and many of them can be onboarded. Many times I feel overloaded with the applications widget. Some major actions are not easily done, like blocking file uploads or downloading specific types of files from the application. You need to dig into the application to set up these types of actions. Not all private applications are supported as expected.
Still needs some development to catch up with the market as a stand-alone product.
The main drawback is that some advance features can feel a bit complex to configure, espcially duriung initail setup.

SaaS Security and DLP Integration Enhances Data Security, Challenges in Usability Remain
Vital tool for our cloud security posture and client access to web applications. We have the Saas security enabled in the Prisma access suite. Saas security in combination with advanced data security/DLP in Prisma access provides the Data Security Posture Management. Without SaaS security, DLP is lagging in terms of effective security measures. It supports both inline and API. We have not encountered any performance related issues or false positives related to application enforcement at the client access. - It Security & Risk Management Associate50M-1B USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
