What I like most is how quickly we can generate accurate quotes once everything is set up. The product rules engine is really strong and saves us tons of back-and-forth with sales reps. Another thing that stands out is the CRM integration data syncs smoothly and reduces stupid that used to happen before. Lastly, the approval workflow is flexible enough so we could shape it around our internal process without needing custom dev work. It just makes the whole sales cycle move faster.
1. SAP CPQ is customizable to your fit. 2. Integrations are very smooth. 3. Can put tasks on automation to save time.
Stron core functionality that delivers real value in production environments , not just in demos, flexible deployment and integration options , allowing to different customer architectures, good balance between advanced features and usability, making in suitable for both technical and opeartional teams, vendor responsiveness and willingness to support partners during pre-sales and implementaion stages.
The main thing I dislike is that some parts of the interface still feel outdated and a bit clunky, especially when youre trying to build more complex configurations. Reporting is another weak spot it works, but its pretty limited unless you plug in extra tools. I also noticed that new users need more training than we expected, because a few settings are buried and not very intuitive. Lastly, performance can slow down when loading bigger quotes, which gets annoying on busy days
1. It's a bit expensive. 2. it works a little slow. 3. Integration with SAP was smooth but with infor, it was challenging.
Integration with some shird party systems can require additional effort and is not always seamless out of the box, documentation could e mode detailed in certain advanced od edge case scenarios, ongoing tuning and optimization may require experienced personnel , especially in more complex environments, licensing or pricing structure may not always be straithforward for end customers.
