The flexibility and amount of integrations built into ScienceLogic means we can monitor and integrate with 90% of our customers' environments from the network up, providing a single view of the environment that we did not have before with segregated systems. This coupled with the depth of monitoring on specific technologies has brought to our attention many configuration issues which have been solved to greatly improve our clients environments.
The API has proven to be the most useful part of the product. And then the log out button.
I like most about the product would be it's multitenancy which can be possible to monitor all the devices like networks ,DB, servers and backup in one platform.
Running the on-prem version of the tool is complex and lacks integrations into the AI and ML solutions provided by the product, this would be greatly enhanced if we were able to integrate directly into these solutions with the on-prem architecture.
Overly complicated and outdated. ScienceLogic software feels like it has been hacked and patched into existence, rather than developed. The reporting is useless, the dashboards are very limited and the UI seems to be going backwards not forwards.
Not much more but still I would like to suggest to improve it's topology concept to other devices like DB and Vcenters rather not only for network switches & routers

Disappointing from installation to support.
I would not recommend either ScienceLogic or their software. We're forever promised fixes in the next version, only to find new and more complex issues in the next versions. Sales do not talk to the account managers, who barely talk to the support or service teams. Unraveling the Potential of ScienceLogic's SL1 Interface
The ScienceLogic product is good and the monitoring is very customizable. However, it is resource intensive for the data collectors required for the agent less server monitoring. Some of the PowerPacks for very common components have old release dates and should have more standardized release cycles for general availability.
