Shopify Likes & Dislikes
1. Conversion optimization for merchant businesses 2. Developer experience and extensive app store 3. Social and other emerging platform integration as well as AI features
I like the way it provides a nice e-commerce experience, I like the ability to report on sales and commerce data and I really like the ability to connect it with other tools and SaaS
The features accessible is the biggest asset. The professional templates are great and it allow us to style our sub-sites however we please: Very beginner friendly, no real tech knowledge needed. Really strong apps to help us facilitate all of our needs
Can become very expensive, with additional app sign ups needed to extend functionality. The base plan does not have any seats for users.
Some of the reporting data is sometimes missing and it is unclear why. I don't particularly like that some SaaS connections and integrations are missing. I'm not a fan of the new UI and how it behaves.
It can be quite costly, particularly if you're just starting out as a business Fees charged if you don't use Shopify Payments Additionally, customisation of designs requires coding knowledge

The developer experience is phenomenal. What really sets them apart is their innovative approach; it's clear the company has a strong emphasis on AI and emerging tech, which gives our stores a competitive edge.
