The what-if scenarios allow us to model and answer the question we most often get when an unexpected IT project comes up: How do we fit this in? We are also coming to see the power of the Insights dashboards and reports.

Clear visibility/overview of resource demand and allocation, ability to run simulations to evaluate impacts on the task force, controlled process for assigning resources
Ideally, we would like the software to use our project priorities, skill requirements, skill matrix, and availability to suggest project start dates. Tempus Resource is not all the way there, but they do seem to be making progress in that direction. Our biggest challenge is that we would like to change the first day of the week from Monday to Sunday to align with our tracked time from an integrated system. We are also cautious of our licensing count, and careful to watch for overages as our managed resource pool expands.
the support is limited because it is a remote support and not onsite
1. So far it is not possible for resource owners to partially accept a resource request (but that is a feature planned on the roadmap). 2. Unnamed/generic resources consume licenses. 3. Lack of a priority attribute for projects and support for cascading priority changes through the portfolio list (though workarounds are possible)
