Detection capabilities and customer orientation
Small community and therefore there's less online help. Customer support is very helpful though The Elements portal has been under heavy development in the past. It now offers a stable platform to access the service. Some features (e.g. full text search and date filtering in the event view) are still missing. The user experience of the support portal could be improved (finding the support portal, case comments and file handling)

An In-depth look at Countercept's Advanced Threat Detection Capabilities
As part of my work, had worked extensively on the Countercept MDR platform, would confidently say that it stands out as a well-rounded advanced solution for threat detection and response. The tool has a mix of automated detection mechanisms and human-led threat hunting capabilities, which provides an in-depth view of the threat landscape. One of the most impressive aspects of the tool is its telemetry collection capability, which can capture extensive data across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. The detection rules are based on both behavioral-based analytics and known threat intelligence feeds, which significantly increased our ability to identify APTs and popular attack vectors. The flexibility of the platform to detect both signature & the behavioral -based anomalies has really enhanced our ability to detect the latest complex attacks very early. Integration with the existing security infrastructure, including EDR & SIEM tools, is smooth & easy, thanks to Countercept's support for a wide range of connectors and APIs. One of its features, which I find particularly useful is the ability to perform deep dive hunting into anomalies & suspicious processes without overloading the team with many false positives. As a result, it allowed us to maintain a very high signal to noise ratio, ensuring we could focus on high severity incidents. The tool's ability to customize detection rules and TI feeds allowed us to adjust & customize the platform to our specific environment, making it more adaptive to the evolving threat landscape. Overall, i personally liked the tool's hands on experience. It has certainly strengthened our security posture against a wide range of attacks & threats. Great product, if you plan for it.
Been a customer for > 5 year now. Quite happy with the service they are delivering. Not full 360 visibility on all layers of ISO model, but was indicated from the start.
