The application is mostly transparent to our associates, and their Outlook plugin is simple enough to use that even our non-technical associates are able to easily encrypt and send their messages. This is a huge improvement for our clients where accessing encrypted communications was often a pain point, but with KnowBe4 it is streamlined. I've not had to assist a client with accessing any secured information since we switched .
1) The platform is easy to use for both administrators and end users 2) Reporting and tracking features provide helpful visibility into user engagement and progress 3) The phishing simulations are highly effective and realistic, helping users build practical awareness and confidence in identifying threats
Ability to apply domain/address blocks to incoming email using the Deny List Support Functionality of the Products Interactive prompts Configuration options Training support for end users The products are not obtrusive and do not consume too much bandwidth
The reporting is fairly limited to only the queries that they have specifically built in. The active users have to be manually maintained with SSO (it will automatically add new users but does not remove them).
1) Some functionalities - setting up assessments and sending out communication through the dashboard are complex and not very intuitive 2) While additional training is available on request, the process is tedious and time consuming, which creates challenges for teams and regions that rely on them 3) The VRO score does not accurately reflect the overall risk level when an organization does not utilize the full suite of Knowbe4 products, which can lead to misinterpretation of the overall risk level. Additionally, new users are regularly onboarded and having their risk score remain high for 90 days inaccurately skews the organization's overall risk score, making improvements difficult.
We have experienced some advanced phishing attacks that evade Defend Defend does not alert on plain text e-mail messages Would like to be able to generate and download meaningful reports

Limited new training content, Preferred training languages readily available and setting up the SAPA and managing communications through the dashboard was complex and created difficulties. The KnowBe4 (formerly Egress) E-mail security products, Defend and Prevent are very effective in preventing and mitigating phishing attacks as well as accidental data loss events. Our users have accepted and embraced these products and that has enhanced their effectiveness. Egress: Advanced Rule Configuration and Data Loss Prevention
Egress has detailed and granular rule configuration allowing for very specific coverage to fit out exact needs. The prevent dashboard has a large array of detailed information and allows us to monitor and check for data loss across the company. Defend also works very well, allowing for easy monitoring of incoming dangerous emails. The abuse mailbox is particularly good, reducing the amount of time that we previously had to spend analysing user reported emails.
