The most interesting part about this product is its common platform which can be easily used by multiple departments within the organization. It is also built on a low-code direct user interface platform which can be easily used even by non-technical users and does not require intense training sessions which eventually saves bandwidth. It also comes with integration with AI which helps users in vendor selection, price comparison, legal framework and folder wise staging of the required documents for the contract signing and execution which does not allow users to take much time to search and access the required files.

The platform allows deep customization without heavy coding. We could tailor approval flows, alerts & templates exactly to our internal processes. Routine tasks like contract renewals, reminders and approvals are automated, reducing manual follow-ups and delays. Having all contracts stored in one place with quick search & filtering has improved visibility and compliance tracking across teams. It integrates well with tools like salesforce & outlook, making it easy for our business teams to work within their existing systems.
Since it comes with a complete package module, it might not be beneficial for the organization with lower volume or lower contractual programs as it might not be cost efficient for them, till a certain limit, they can manage their complete contractual information and documents through some free version software available in the market. Also, it does not provide a cloud-based storage system which might lead to deletion or loss of files due to any malware or software attack which forces users to keep the readily available backup of each and every file.
There have been issues with regards to Agiloft's attitude towards Customer Service, including its approach to managing implementation & licensing. While the platform is powerful this comes at a cost in terms of how easy the platform is to maintain. For a small, specialised, non-technical Team this has meant a steep learning curve in reaching some level of self-sufficiency in the day-to-day use of the system. The need for specialised support should be identified, planned & costed-in from the beginning.
The interface, though functional, can feel slightly dated & complex for first time users. A more modern & intuitive UI would enhance usability. Because of its configurability, new users or admins need time or proper training to fully utilize all the features & automation options. Occasionally, search & load times are a bit slower when handling a high volume of contracts or attachments.

Overall the experience has been very positive because Agiloft is flexible enough to handle our most complex contract types. implementation went well because the system adapted to our work rather than forcing us to change how we work. The only real hurdle was the initial setup complexity, but now that we are live the automation has significantly cut down on manual data entry.
