Convergent Billing Solution (CBS) (Legacy) Likes & Dislikes
Adaptation of the platform to the business needs.
what i like most of CBS is that it centralized many billing systems into one solution
Strong architecture and scalability.
Requires direct specialized support with the manufacturer.
configuration takes long time, it doesn't completly support all features on other billing systems, it allows to have interection with other system to complement tarification, but this feature i don't like, you eliminate a billing system, but had to add small billing cooperative system to handle everything you use to have before
Less flexibility and less customization. No sufficient english document. No sufficient proficient local staff.

ongoing migration from multiple billing systems to CBS
We bought CBS to have only one billing system, the main objective since the beginning has been eliminate specialized billing system for different kind of products. Our company is telecomunications related, Overall the experience has been aceptable until now, we had migrated the billing system that we used before for prepaid subscribers. in the middle term migrating postpaid and others types of subscribers is contemplated - Infrastructure and OperationsGov't/PS/EdTelecommunicationReview Source
Good western govenance but weak micro management
The old-friend vendor who almost well understands our situation and requirement. Huawei always tries to treat customers well and looks for the future. However, Huawei is changing inside and those changes impact to our requirement and bring some difficulty. - General Manager, Construction Department10B+ USDTelecommunicationReview Source

Implementation was easy but product mapping was not done correctly.
Experience was good. Have to be more focused on features and product side. Real expert were available only before migration.
