CRITICAL

“Data Is Easy to Find, Hard to Trust: Useful Interface Undone by Outdated Information”

3.0
Nov 18, 2025
The platform is easy enough to use, the interface behaves as it should, and the filtering tools are serviceable, but the data quality constantly drags the whole thing down. You go in mostly to find decision-maker contacts, and while you can usually surface the right titles, the accuracy is shaky—enough outdated, retired, or even deceased contacts to make outreach awkward. Financials are essentially untrustworthy, even for public companies, and modeled revenue drives a lot of junk prospects into your lists. The tool does its job mechanically, but the information inside it can’t be counted on, which limits how much value you can genuinely pull from it.

D&B Hoovers Likes & Dislikes

Like

One of the most important features for my use-case is D&B Hoovers functionality to display a comprehensive overview of corporate family structure - it's great to see the full company hierarchy, subsidiaries in the family tree and corresponding number of employees. The interface makes it easy to find companies and access key details like DUNS number, website, and LinkedIn pages quickly and efficiently. Finding the prospects (ICP) based on the set criteria worked really well for the team in order to find specific accounts for white-space tagging exercises.

Like

Its easy to navigate, the filters behave the way theyre supposed to, and exporting or moving what you find into your pipeline is smooth and low-friction. If the underlying data is correct, the structuretitles, org layout, ownershipis laid out clearly, which makes scanning for the right person straightforward. The interface is the strong point; the mechanics work even if the data behind them often doesnt.

Like

It is very user friendly at both API and manual level. The dashboards are very intuitive and easy to navigate.

Dislike

Sometimes the information can be slightly outdated or incomplete, especially for smaller companies. It would be great if data like employee counts or contact details were refreshed more frequently.

Dislike

The weakest link is data accuracy, and it affects almost everything you try to do with the tool. Too many contacts are outdatedpeople whove left, retired, or diedso outreach becomes guesswork. The financials are unreliable, even for public companies, and the modeled revenue is inaccurate enough to flood searches with the wrong targets. Time-sensitive info like leadership changes is almost always behind the curve. The platform itself works; the data inside it cant be trusted.

Dislike

The accuracy of the data when compared to the data we sent in, hovers around 70%. As mentioned, DnB has some old data and or compares to their data pieces that may be quite outdated.

Initial Training Lacked Clarity and Practical Application for Healthcare Sales Teams

    3.0
    Nov 18, 2025
My company did not tell us what this was, so we went into a training with no clue how this was supposed to help us. Then the training was very high level and I didn't really see how it applied to me personally. This was mostly my organization's fault and is not a surprise, but I really don't think there will be much adoption of this tool based on that experience. We typically implement something and then it is never spoken of again.

Decent Add-On For Contact Data But Lacks Standalone Reliability And Support

    3.0
    Dec 10, 2025
It's a decent resource for contact and company information but honestly well behind others in terms of quality and upkeep. The basic search is pretty good, if a little picky on spelling . The advanced search offers a good range of functions, in some cases more than competitors, but is a bit clunky and slow when running. All in all, it's a fine add-on to other systems but not really robust enough on its own for my needs.

Limited Access to Key Contact Information Challenges Efficient Lead Identification

    3.0
    Nov 18, 2025
first, it appears there is a strong data resource on the site, my experience not having used the site prior too is difficult to navigate to find specific targeted individuals related to the industries seeking. Example, health care-hospitals -are a target is facilities managers at these companies. I would get all of the contacts at the company and then have to go through the list one by one to find the right person.-way to time consuming! Next, there isn't any chat or video resources to help when stuck-only a tutorial. Some of the information like emails or phone is was not available .
