Availability of a set of predefined techniques such as Business Model Canvas, Balanced Score Card, PESTEL, SWOT, etc. The intuitive and easy to adopt environment (HoriZZon and Enterprise Studio) for delivering the best value of the practice with agility and velocity. Rich capabilities to create engaging and customized dashboards. The integration of different sets technical capabilities are several layers that allow for different roles (enterprise architect, solution architect, portfolio manager, etc.) to come together inside the same platform.

Read Full ReviewThe support for Archimate and BPMN is excellent. Being able to link between them is an excellent feature. A nice feature is the possibility to do some analysis on models in the HoriZZon portal, so you don't have to be a modeller to perform analysis or get insights from the model. From a deployment perspective it is nice that Bizzdesign is offered as a SaaS solution. Bizzdesign offers good support, they will help you hands on when needed.

The lack of flexibility in customizing the welcome screen of the SaaS product (would appreciate to be able to accept the customer's enterprise branding rules).
Read Full ReviewThe license model for HoriZZon portal is a disadvantage if you want to share models company wide. Some users occasionally report performance issues on larger models, although it was not clear if Bizzdesign was the largest factor in this. Load time of a model when you did not use Bizzdesign for a longer time can be a bit long.

From an architecture perspective, Bizzdesign offers us the possibility to keep oversight of our businesss processes, data and applications, and the underlying infrastructure. We use Archimate for this and Bizzdesign Enterprise Studio serves us well in maintaining the required models. Also, our process analysts model the business processes in more detail in BPMN. With Bizzdesign, you can link the architecture perspective and the business process detailed perspective by linking Archimate and BPMN. The publication portal HoriZZon works well for us to be able to share models and insights with relevant stakeholders. This solution has been a valuable tool in our workflow. It has significantly streamlined our architecture practice into one, cohesive, format. Our team has also enjoyed our use of the tool, finding that it's modeling tools are very functional as well as visually appealing. BizzDesign Horizzon is an outstanding product that has been extremely valuable to us. The only thing that could make it "truly exceptional" is to realize some of the products and features in its roadmap. Also, as with any product, there are quirks and challenges that arise occasionally.
