Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Likes & Dislikes
1 - Flexibility - D365 Sales is flexible which means we can adapt its use for our specific use case. 2 - Compatibility with existing M365 suite of tooling 3 - Ease of use
Automates some of the work I do.
I like how quietly it gets out the way. Everything sits where I already work, so nothing feels bolted on. Updates happen that actually add something and not just take up RAM. With other competitors, whilst powerful, it felt like there was always something new to pick up. Dynaics feels light, quicker and far easier to live with day to day.
1 - Flexibility - a pro and a con - because it's so flexible it often feels like there are no ready to go, out of the box capabilities - everything seems to need some level of configuration. 2 - Instability - we've had instances where our Power Automate flows stop working or other functionality has been impacted by updates. 3 - Sales Outreach Tools - some of the sales outreach tools e.g. quick campaigns can feel a little cumbersome for users and not always straight forward to use.
A lot of extra steps to getting to the end result.
Probably the setup. Whilst a lot simpler than other platforms, it still takes time to shape the fields, stages and views into something that suits real daily use. Certain menu items feel a bit buried and certain common rules take more effort than they should.

Flexibility and Integration Stand Out but Require Ongoing Configuration and Support
Great experience with Microsoft. Because we're a frontier company, we always have very engaged contacts within Microsoft to support us and to help navigate us through the product and capabilities. Early days with our deployment of the tool but it's provided parts of the business with tooling they've never had before so is opening up lots of areas of potential. - MARKETING MANAGER<50M USDMediaReview Source
Routine Tasks Simplified in Familiar Environment Despite Challenges in Menu Navigation
Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 feels more like moving from a cluttered desk to a clear one. It sits where I already work in Outlook, Teams and Excel so nothing feels forced. Daily tasks run smoothly (in most cases) and overall it's a very handy tool. - Business Development Associate50M-1B USDFinance (non-banking)Review Source
Centralized Sales Pipeline Streamlines Daily Customer Interaction and Data Management
I’ve been using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales to keep track of customer interactions and the sales pipeline. What stands out the most is how all of our accounts, leads, and activity history live in one place, which makes it easier to follow up and plan next steps. I tap into it regularly, and it feels like part of the normal rhythm of working with customers rather than something separate. - IT Manager50M-1B USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
Integration with Office 365 Is smooth but D365 Finance and Supply Chain connections remain challenging
It's easy to use and customize, and it integrates well with Office 365 and other Microsoft tools. - Operations Associate50M-1B USDManufacturingReview Source
D365 is a great tool, but reporting could be more seamless in the system.
D365 is a great tool, sure. It is super integrated with other other types of systems. Specifically, it has great integrations with other tools like Copilot, excel, powerbi, outlook etc.
