Functionality - create anything you want on the canvas (as an ex Designer I love this freedom) The AI features - especially the translation as we run workshops in multiple languages and this saves a lot of time Regular updates - love how they keep expanding the functionality to keep up with industry expectations Integrations - Jira etc is brilliant and helps consistent workflow especially getting info/docs all in one place for project management
The product is intuitive, you can plug and play and the learning curve is null. The ease of use is fantastic and the fact that you can collaborate with a lot of other stake holders makes it a great tool for cross country teams.
The three most valuable features include the ability to share boards with specific team members while keeping it private from others, the ability to comment on peoples boards and tag others usernames if the comment is specific to someone on your team and that person will get an email notification when youve tagged them in a comment supporting asybc collab in a timely manner. Another feature I like the most is the ability to copy paste between Excel and sticky notes because this is valuable for synthesizing information such as survey data. Youre able to take that information from a survey export and copy paste them into stickies in Miro, and then group them which allows for more visual synthesis of themes and idea ideas.
As above, the account manager connection and the integration issues we've had recently
We have been using this tool for a long time but decided to change because of 3 main things: 1. Price: the price per seat easily adds up and without one you cannot do anything. There are lots of other tools out there that allow for different seat access and pricing that is more dynamic and works for our enterprise better. 2. Customization: Despite all the functionalities, I find Miro to not be too customizable to our needs and wants. Feature requests are not easy. 3. Support: The support is not up to par for the product. I don't find it easy to reach out when there are issues and things are not picked up quickly enough.
Given that I work for a company that acquires and merges companies, it can be very difficult to manage merging the licenses between legacy companies and adding the right users to the license that youre using so generally access can be difficult. Another thing I dislike is that you have to have extremely strong Wi-Fi service for it to work or it lags a little bit. This can also be difficult when youre hosting a large online work session and if there are 30 users in your board, it can also create a lag. Another thing that I wish was improved was the organization of your boards within Miro. You cannot create folders within a project folder, so theres really only one additional layer of organization.

Miro is a game changer for business collaboration but has some integration and support challenges
Miro is an awesome product and I use it everyday. The majority 90% of our business utilises it, either on a regular or semi regular basis and it provides structure to our meetings, workshops and planning. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because the customer support - from a dedicated account manager - is a little adhoc and I have recently been contacted - like a cold call - about a feature I have been using (gather its come up in their data) even though I have spoken live with this person a number of times and they know who I am. It looks like an AI email that has been sent to the masses so a bit of a miss there on the personal approach. I have also had some issues recently with the integration of Jira Plans. There are potential privacy settings on our IT network, but as a corporate, I imagine this is consistent with other businesses, so how might Miro make this safer to enable this feature which for us, is a game changer? - SR UX RESEARCHER1B-10B USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Infinite Canvas and Collaboration Enhance Productivity, But Organization and Access Lag
Miro is an application that I use daily for brainstorming, research synthesis, planning, and collaborative work sessions with my teams. The reason I like Miro is because of its infinite white space canvas that allows you to start small, but continue to build it out as you learn more information. You can create new boards for each project and have your boards be either private or public. - Designer1B-10B USDRetailReview Source
Helpful for Visual Collaboration Within a Fashion Design Team
Miro has worked well for my team as a way to visually collaborate. We design children's clothing, and we use Miro as a way to visualize the line as we are designing. Since we all own different categories of product, we are able to use Miro to consolidate everything in one spot where our whole team and crossfunctional teams can view it. Previously we had been using local software and saving files on our company server, where we would have to make sure nobody else had the file open before we could go in. This was a lot more tedious, and Miro makes it much easier and allows us to all be working on the same thing simultaneously. I do feel that Miro was designed for a different application than we use it for, so some features are lacking such as rulers or a sense of scale, but overall it has worked very well for our team and has allowed us more freedom in collaboration. - Manager, Project Management1B-10B USDSoftwareReview Source
Real-Time Collaboration Features Make Meetings Easier Yet Large Boards Can Feel Cluttered
Overall, I've had a solid experience using Miro on a day to day basis. It's easy to pick up without much of a learning curve, but still flexible enough for more detailed or complex work. I use it for working group meetings that require collaborative planning and workshops, and it works well when you have a mix of various stakeholders and ideas in the same place. There are ready made templates for use which are helpful as well. - Research and Development Associate1B-10B USDFinance (non-banking)Review Source
Feature set and usability miles ahead of other whiteboard tools
Miro is my tool of choice for almost all my documentation. The breadth of features available sets Miro well above other whiteboard apps in the market, and everything is just so easy to use. I use it for planning, roadmapping, brainstorming, gathering user research observations, reporting on findings and presenting, as well as many other tasks. Everything fits together seamlessly.
