“solid and flexible, but pricing tiers and mobile experience hold it back”

4.0
Apr 22, 2026
Honestly, Monday's been a bit of a mixed bag for me. The visual layout makes it easy to see where stuff stands at a glance, and I like that I can set it up differently for different projects instead of being stuck with one rigid setup. Onboarding my team went smoother then I expected tbh. That said, it gets noisy really fast. Once you got multiple boards running with automations firing off left and right, the notifications pile up and I have caught myself muting things just to get through the day. The pricing per seat also starts to sting when you wanna add occasional collaborators who dont need full experience. And some features I thought would be standard ended up locked behind a higher tier than we are on, which is kinda annoying. Overall I'd say it does the job, but I wouldnt call it love.

“Easy Drag-and-Drop Features Stand Out Amid Rising Costs and Confusing Templates”

It's very visual and keeps stuff tidy. When using different projects and templates it started to get confusing, at least for me and my use cases.

monday.com Likes & Dislikes

Like

First, the board views. Being able to flip the same data between timeline, calendar and table without rebuilding anything is honestly a lifesaver. My manager wants timeline view and I just want a table, everyone gets what they want off one source of truth. Second, the automations. I set up a few recipes like when status changes done notify the reviewer, or when a due date is tomorrow ping the owner, and it quietly runs in the background. Third, the integration with other tools. We got it talking to google drive without much fuss, and the two way sync actually works properly which I wasnt expecting cause usually these integrations are half baked.

Like

What I liked most was the visuals. As soon as you open it you get to see where all your diagrams and flows are. intuitive drag and drop, colors etc

Like

I like how it has automation. You can set up an automation to notify yourself once the date arrives, or even automatically tag a teammate once the item is created. It really makes your life easier. I like the interface; even non-tech-savvy people can navigate it easily. I also like that they have 24/7 support agents you can ask anytime, and they provide answers/feedback right away!

Dislike

First, the pricing. you hit a paywall for stuff that should just be included. Time tracking? higher tier. proper dashboards? higher tier. more automation runs? same old deal. adds up quicker for smaller teams. Secondly, the notifications overload. Once you have got a few boards running, the bell becomes a nightmare. I've missed imp stuff burried under status change pings. filtering is not granular enough. lastly, the mobile app is rough man. Fine for quick checks but actual work on it is painful, columns cut off, views barely load, editing is a chore.

Dislike

What I disliked most is that prices climbed really fast. Though I'm not the one paying, I'm the internal customer that gets questioned when someone has to pay. Another issue I didn't like was the confusion between templates and flows, couldn't easily replicate myu tamplates

Dislike

I think they need to widen their third-party software integration. They need to add more applications/platforms to connect to Monday.com as a CRM, and the other app as another tool. For example, add another phone system integration where we can text from Monday.com. Another thing they can improve on is to make more automated data. They should also add more resources or expand the articles for common questions or FAQs.

I learned about this platform from a previous company, and I love how it's collaborative and how it helps everyone in the team! I moved to a different company, and I recommended that the management use this platform. They loved it. Even the new hires on the team think it's very helpful for managing projects and tracking data.

Customization and Accessibility Stand Out, Yet Speed and Cost Remain Concerns

    Nov 10, 2025
The overall experience using Monday.com has been positive. Unlike other systems we explored, the Monday.com platform allowed for complex customization for our unique work environment. We were able to integrate the different ways of working for multiple divisions on the same platform which was a huge win for us considering the different ways each department operates.
