The combination of a powerful platform and exceptional team behind it. The platform itself is highly flexible, intuitive, and continuously evolving, which means we can respond quickly to user needs, implement improvements, and turn new ideas into reality without waiting for long development cycles. Just as important is the collaboration with the Omnia team. They are engaged, solution-oriented, and always ready to support us, whether it is questions, sparring, or more complex requests. Their openness, professionalism, and genuine interest in our success make a huge difference in our daily work.
Product support is very good, but not product development.
Content management and governance is fundamental the product.
While we appreciate the strengths of Omnia, there are a few areas that have been challenging. When we first started building our intranet, the product wasn't fully mature for all our requirements. The platform's flexibility made it possible to achieve what we needed, but it also meant that we had to invest in a significant amount of customization. This added extra cost and complexity in the early stages. However, today most of those customizations have been replaced with OOTB features. Another challenge is that styling can be quite time-consuming, especially when working with more complex layouts. The good news is that Omnia is actively improving this, and recent releases have already made the process smoother by implementing a component library feature.
We have the on premises editions of the products implemented. There is no further development planned. Too long waiting times for bug fixing.
Minor reported bugs in the UI are pushed low on the priority list, so these tend to stack up, and take the edge off what would otherwise be a perfect tool. The admin navigation behind the product isn't always the easiest to follow. The user guide doesn't provide enough information on the application of its functions.

Our overall experience with Omnia is positive and our collaboration with the Omnia team is seamless and has accelerated our continuous improvements as their expertise across strategy, governance, design, and configuration is exactly what we need to succeed. We greatly value the ease of using the platform. We serve ~15.000 global users across 140 locations, and Omnia supports our entire intranet setup, including solutions like House of Policies without additional platform costs. Our editors generally find Omnia intuitive, through in the early phases some preferred working directly in SharePoint. When we first started, the product wasn't mature enough to meet all our requirements, and we invested in several customizations. Today, most of these are offered OOTB, showing how quickly the platform evolves.
