HubSpot Marketing Hub Likes & Dislikes
The best thing about HubSpot Marketing Hub is its unified nature and powerful automation. Native integration with the CRM is a standout strength, ensuring a;; marketing efforts, from email nurturing to lead scoring, flow into a single customer view for both marketing and sales teams. This all-in-one approach streamlines campaign execution and provides unparalleled revenue attribution reporting, allowing you to prove exactly which activities close deals.
It has a wide breadth of options and things to dive into from email marketing to social posting. We do appreciate that our entire team is on one platform, making conversations easier to have and limitations easier to understand. With further updates we are hopeful HubSpot will be able to be the one stop shop they promise.
Personalization using Smart Content really stands out. Emails, landing pages, (and likely other things too) can display different copy/images to different contacts based on their list membership. This allows us to display copy based on region, job title, or contact type (client, prospect, partner, etc). This has saved us time as we used to send separate emails for different regions.
The main weakness is the pricing model where costs scale steeply with contact volume and crucial features like reporting, A/B testing and full automation being paywalled in the expensive Pro tier or higher. While I feel it pays for itself in time, for small teams, this creates a steep learning curve and makes the platform costly to fully utilize.
It doesn't do anything particularly well. Every step in the process from creating emails, social posts, or utalizing the AI feels cumbersome and clunky. It there are just a bunch of hoops to jump through making everything more complicated than it would be if we were still on a specific email service, social sercive, crm service, etc...
The revenue attribution currently isn't helpful to us. We have multiple brands, and it would be helpful if there was an attribution model that only takes assets from that brand into account. Currently, a blog from Brand A is attributed revenue for a Brand B sale. While it could have contributed, it is murky enough that we don't use this model. If you could silo by business unit, that would help. For us, it would be more helpful if you could see how many leads were generated from an asset. We can do this by going to Forms > looking at recent conversions > checking through the sources. But if the reporting on an email page tells you This email generated X form fillouts or This email generated X form fillouts for form A and Y form fillouts for form B that would be more valuable.

HubSpot Marketing Hub Reviews and Ratings

Robust Platform Offers Strong Lead Nurturing but Pricing Limits Access to Features
HubSpot Marketing Hub gets 4 out of 5 stars for being a powerful, all-in-one platform that excels in automation and seamlessly integrates with CRM, making lead nurturing and data tracking a user-friendly experience. The only real downside is the steep and complex pricing structure (you're looking at Professional or Enterprise depending on your needs). - Marketing Associate1B-10B USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
Centralized Platform Offers Convenience But Fails To Streamline Organizational Processes
There isn't anything on HubSpot that directly changes how we at our organization are able to do work. With everything all in one place, we were hopeful that it would streamline processes for us, however we found that the transition took longer than expected, and there was nothing on Hubspot that we couldn't do prior on other platforms. All that being said, it gets the job done well enough. It just didnt provide us with a process overhaul we expected. - MARKETING ASSOCIATE1B-10B USDSoftwareReview Source
Strong Tools, Revenue Attribution Tough for Multi-Brand Companies
HubSpot has very strong tools for email marketing, blogging, social media, and website management. It's great that these are all connected - you can tie multiple assets together with the Campaign feature, and you can reuse images/videos across different mediums without having to reupload. The reporting is very strong, but I do have some wishes for future product development as listed below. - DIGITAL DIRECTOR<50M USDConsumer GoodsReview Source
Attribution Models And Dashboard Features Add Reporting Depth To Marketing Efforts
Hubspot marketing platform is a fantastic source of truth for all marketers! It removes the complexity of setting up GA4 tracking and looking at different attribution models by Google which you cannot see. The Marketing Hub has the intelligence to look at contacts and leads at a variety of different attribution models which is handy for our reporting. Dashboards also give us access to results for Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads as well as email marketing automation and sends and landing page creation - what more could you need! - MARKETING EXECUTIVE<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
HubSpot Makes Marketing Feel Organized
I've been using HubSpot Marketing Hub for about 6 months now, and overall it's been a solid experience. It has been the central system for our inbound marketing and lead management in my past organization. The interface is intuitive, and everything from email campaigns to landing pages felt integrated and smooth. What I appreciate most is how seamless it is and how it connects marketing with sales thru the inbuilt CRM. It's reliable, user-friendly, and has saved me hours compared to managing mulitple separate tools.
