The reporting capabilities are outstanding. Customization and expression build out allow for very specific requests and data. Real-time customization via the Platform Configuration tool aligns well with our need for flexibility. This can be used for permissions or truly custom field buildout. Auditing capabilities allow direct tracking of changes to identify root causes.

Read Full ReviewProduct is user friendly. Simple guides/videos are all that had to be put together to guide HR users, managers and employees. Customer support is available to assist when needed. Product outages are very minimal.
Read Full ReviewThe systems are not as integrated as one might expect. We have had to track down inconsistencies across the product when APIs and integrations fail, or when there is a delay in a feed. Tax and payroll support is lacking. The backend system setup is complex, and it is difficult to understand the intricacies for each state and locality. Workforce Management is an extremely complex system with an unintuitive setup. Researching an issue or creating new accruals, pay codes, or workflows can take hours and at times days if you are not regularly interacting with those specific processes.

Since they changed the service model from the original Ultimate Software, we do not receive the same warm and friendly check-ins from our customer care rep. Sometimes don't even get a response to escalations or items we are curious about. The rep assigned to us changes a lot and we are not always sure who that person is. Don't really like that adding AI is going to come with a cost per employee.

Intuitive Security Setup Enhances Use, but Broader Customization Remains Restricted
Generally the product has provided what we need to be successful in managing our employees, benefits and payroll processes. There are areas of the system that lack customizability that has limited us in setting up the system to fit existing processes within our organizations. I have been pleased to see the efforts made over the last few years to improve the customer experience, provide resources to assist with issues, and innovate to improve the product. It is a good product, but like every piece of software, it is limited by its underlying architecture.
